Good-Day everyone^-^
How's going?? I'm nervous of taking IELTS in this weekend. The reason why I have to take that exam is I wanna study journalism in Australian university next year, so I need to get high scores. I can't stop sighing.haha And my university school festival is in two weeeks, so I have many things to do. I'm a handful now :(
I wanna tell you what I lernt in Suzanne class in this week. That is an interesting and funny class at least for me. oooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhh, I hope she doesn't feel uncomfortable when she reads this blog. I knew she checks ENGLISH blog, not Japanese one :p ha-ha Anyway, I take two her classes; Science of English & Cross-Cultural Communication. Both classes are soooooooooooooooooooooooooo funny. I learnt New Yowk Tawk and Southern accent in Science of English class. Both are so interesting. My favourites Newyorkese accents are "Eggzauwsted" and "Whatsoevuh" ha-ha Thoes accecnts are so funny to me. And southern accent mmmmmm.... it makes me a little bit flustrated :p It's soooooo difficult to understand!! When I saw this word "HAZE," I thought what the hell is it!? Then I understood it means "He is." If someone said that word, I'd ask him/her "Excuse me?"haha Well, I'll give you some quizes for you. I hope you leave a comment if you understand :)
Q: What do the following New York and Southern English dialect terms mean?
1. Dises, dems, and doses
2. Toidy-Toid Street
3. Fat- a battleor combat; to engage in battle or combat
4. Munts- A calendar division
And today's class, Cross-Cultural Communication, I learnt the body language. That was an interesting, too. I have a question for you. I'm appreciate it if you give me a hand. What kind of body language do you often use or tell a funny body language. I wanna tell my friends!!

Good Luck on your IELTS. Or if italready passed, I hope you did well.
You learned American Dialects? How much fun! And don't worry, I think alot of Americans can't understand the Southern Accent either. It's weird to see the way Southern people talk written out, like you did. like "haze". But I understood once I read it. Have you ever learned about British, Scottish, or Irish accents? Now that is English that sometimes even I can't understand. But I love the British Accent. Any boy with a British Accent, even if he is not really good looking, I will think is hot just because of the accent. :P
Thank you for leaving a message :) I like British accent, too!! Yeah, I understand what you are talking about. I agree with you that even a guy doesn't look good, I think I'll fall in love with him.haha British accent is a little bit hard to understand, but the American Southern accent is much much harder than British Accent!!ha-ha
Hello Mai! Sorry I haven't been able to comment sooner; classes have been really crazy lately. I think it's awesome that you're studying dialects. Southern Dialects can be pretty tricky; they tend to push words together, like "he is" being "haze" and "you all" being "ya'll."
What sort of funny body language do you mean? Body language can be used in soooooooooo many ways, it's almost hard to answer a question on it ^_^;;;;; I hope you are doing well!
Yeah, you right, kate. There are so many body languages. In the class,I had to think of what kind of body language I use, mmm... then I thought that's difficult to answer because you know, it comes NATURALLY!! haha Suzanne told us that when we comunicate with people,we use the body language almost 80%. Isn't it interesting?? We can communicate only body language!!haha That's funny.
